Ken Hawk has worked at more stations doing more formats than he cares to remember! Born in Detroit, Ken was raised in the fabled Alle-Kiski Valley, where he was bitten by the radio bug at an early age...and he's never recovered.
Ken joined AllHitz 97.7 in June of 2006, and his wandering radio ways came to an end that September, when he married his wife Margie, a Butler woman whom he had met the year before. Then came their daughter, Savannah (whom they named after the famed port city in Georgia). When Ken's away from the mic, he enjoys fine dining, wine, bicycling, movies, and traveling with his family to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
Ken also does charity work for St. Barnabas Health System in Gibsonia. He has served as a judge for their annual Kean Idol talent competition and a model at their annual fashion show.
Listen to Ken weekday afternoons, and you might even see him at an occasional station remote or event. Say hi to him...he won't bite. And if he does, he's had his shots. |
